A research collaboration between Manchester School of Architecture and Margate-based Studio Sam Causer, funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC). The project is part of the Future Observatory national research programme and Design Exchange Partnerships 2023: Coastal Communities.

ZeroMargate aims to transform the coastal line of Margate into an activator for the green transition of the town. Our aim is to connect with the Margate wider community and  co-create a design blueprint for the integration of the existing seaside shelters and structures into the town's climate change adaptation strategies.
